what is a gematria converter?

In the study of Kabbalah, a gematria converter is a tool used to interpret the numerical values that are assigned to Hebrew letters. Gematria converters allow researchers to interpret the deeper meanings behind numerical sequences associated with Jewish letters. By assigning numerical values to letters, certain words can be analyzed and their deeper meaning made more apparent.

A Gematria Converter assigns numerical values to each letter according to the language it is written in (Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin etc.). Once all of the numerical values for each letter have been given, various calculations can be done in order to compare different words and phrases - often revealing hidden connections between them. As with any form of interpretation using numerology, Gematria has various methods of interpretation open to interpretation by its readers.

For example, a word may have a certain combination of numerical values that represent different meanings depending on the context in which it is used. By using a Gematria converter, researchers can quickly and accurately figure out these stated meanings and delve deeper into understanding what they represent.

Unlike traditional numerology systems, Gematria is not only concerned with factors such as numbers being prime or composite; instead it looks at the relationship between words and symbols on a higher plane. A good analogy would be looking at two faces and seeing that although there are subtle differences in features between them (which can also by distinguished numerically), it is ultimately possible to see that they represent one unified face once considered from an aerial view - or from a higher perspective based on assignment of numbers and symbols associated with each face.
